Pier 0.1.46: Conflict Review Restores Continuous Multi-File List
Conflict review now restores a continuous multi-file list. It shares file headers, folding, and scrolling with regular diffs; clicking the sidebar only scrolls to the file and no longer switches to a single-file view. In narrow windows, file names are prioritized, and status descriptions are truncated first. File-level resolution actions are moved into the existing context menu, with no new button bar; version comparison directly reuses the regular diff body, eliminating nested layouts and duplicate whitespace. After resolution, only the corresponding conflict is removed.
Pier 0.1.45: Running Tasks with Preparation Commands
Run tasks with preparation commands. When a mise config is present, the toolchain can be trusted and installed; when package.json, Composer, uv, or Poetry is present, dependencies can be installed. If the corresponding program isn't available locally, these commands won't appear.
Pier 0.1.44: Conflict review only shows the current file at a time
Review conflicts one file at a time. Select an item in Merge Changes; conflicts with markers can be accepted and staged here. When the working tree file is missing and both sides can be read as text, the body shows the diff of the current side against the incoming side. If the file is too large, has the wrong encoding, or cannot be read, and the file still exists, the primary button is Open File.
Pier 0.1.43: fx Agent Support
fx agent support. New `fx` agent (https://fx.sh): directory probing, launch, one-shot (`fx ask`), MCP/skill discovery, install and update sources. When switching accounts, the Grok plugin can sync subscription credentials to `~/.fx/grok-auth.json` (login-based OIDC accounts only).
Pier 0.1.42: Canvas Interactive Flowchart
Canvas interactive flow diagrams. Authors write only swimlanes, steps, and connections; after the host validates them, it draws the main path, bypass, return, and failure lines. Swimlanes are boxes with top bars and can stack phases, group boxes, and a legend derived from node types. At rest, the main path is thicker and the recovery band is visible; on hover, the related connections flow in their direction.
Pier 0.1.40: Terminal supports native scroll-to-bottom
The terminal now supports native scroll-to-bottom. `Cmd+↓` / `Cmd+End` lets you return to the bottom in interfaces without shell prompt markers.
Pier 0.1.41: Enhanced Input Sending—Long Chinese No Longer Displays as `` in the Agent
Enhanced input so long Chinese text no longer displays `` in agents. Terminal writes are now chunked at character boundaries, preventing a single Chinese character from being split across two write operations (which affects chunk-by-chunk decoding agents such as Cursor).
Pier 0.1.38: No More Duplicate Split-Screen Plugins in Settings
The two split-screen plugins no longer appear in settings. The renamed "Workbench Split Screen" has been removed from the official directory, leaving only "Agent Split Screen."
Pier 0.1.39: Clicking files in the terminal now opens them in Pier
Files clicked in the terminal open in Pier. Source code and text go to the Files panel; web pages and email still use the system.
Pier 0.1.37: Preview SVG in Markdown and Reviews
SVGs can now be previewed in Markdown and reviews. Valid SVG files open as images instead of showing a binary file prompt.
Pier 0.1.36: Task Tracking Dashboard
Task tracking board. The official plugin brings GitHub, Linear, and Jira issues onto project boards and canvas. Linear/Jira are organized into columns by workflow and remember drag-and-drop order; GitHub remains grouped by assignee.
Pier 0.1.35: Open Project Directory from Review
In review, you can open the project directory. Right-click on the changes tree, diff, and review tabs to open the Files project directory tab (containing only the directory tree), positioned at the git root of this review. It doesn't steal the main click in the review, and no chip is added to the top bar.
Pier 0.1.34: You can opt in to release candidates
Turn on “Receive release candidates” in Settings. You can also move a panel to another window, open files with pier, and confirm a commit from the Git changes page.
Pier 0.1.33: Project setup is remembered, and a phone on the same network can look in
CLI setup for a project can be remembered. A phone on the same LAN can view sessions and files. Markdown reading is steadier. The old Workbench panel now lives on the canvas.
Pier 0.1.32: Input rework — attachments show what they are
Attachments in the input show by type. Mentions and commands share one capsule style. Close and reopen, and the draft is still there. Esc dismisses the list first, then the input.
